How does Gilana’s Fund make an impact?
Since its creation in 2007, Gilana’s Fund has awarded over 40 grants to non-profit organizations across the country whose mission is to educate, support, and promote the core values of Gilana’s Fund: acceptance, inclusion, justice, and equality. Learn more about our grant recipients HERE.

The money raised by Gilana's Fund goes directly to non-profit organizations whose mission statement aligns with the principles of educating the world of acceptance.
Who is Gilana?
Gilana Shira Alpert was a redheaded, friendly, opinionated, loving young woman who passed away in November of 2007 at the age of 26. She made a lasting impact on those who knew her, and this Fund keeps her legacy alive.
